Here we have for sale a beautiful collector item
IWC Schaffhausen vintage watch with a 35mm stainless steel 3-body case that houses one of the famous and rare cal. 88 manual wound movements with subsecond at 6. The watch is from about 1947 and is in very good condition for its age (as you can see from the pictures). The watch looks very much like the original IWC portuguese ref. 325 watches. Look at the blue indices and the original blue feuille de sauge hands, the 3 body case with its holes for the spring bars. The cal. 88 is a very rare manufacture movement from back then. The dial has most probably been restored somewhen in the past (we have unfortunately no details about that). The crown is original.
The watch has just been fully serviced by a skilled watchmaker in Schaffhausen (full movement service, case polish, new crystal). The watch comes on a new RIOS croco calf strap and a neutral buckle. The paperwork of the service is included in the delivery, so is a new IWC service box.
The watchmaker in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) offers his service warranty until September 2026.
